SO here is a "rice" and bean recipe for the fasting. You can have brown rice if you prefer but this one is different, healthy, filling, and will give you a good source of protein, fiber, and daily nutrients needed.
You can buy riced veggies. In the frozen food section, there are steamable packages of riced veggie combos like cauliflower and broccoli, microwave for 5 minutes (if I remember correctly) and heat the black bean soup, adding slightly a little less water so that it is thicker. Cut up some avocado and add.
** This recipe is for you if, if you can't meal prep, on the run, or cough cough, just can't cook**
By all means, if you have a traditional black bean recipe you can do that too.
Soups are good because it is liquid and liquids are filling:
lentil soup (no meat seasoning)
split pea
black bean
vegetable soup
Snacks
Kale Chips and Salsa
Fruit Smoothies (no yogurt but you can use soy milk- um, for me, blek but some like it)
Kale Chips / Beet Chips with guacamole
